You need to install drivers. If you have a driver disk that came with your computer, use that. Otherwise, use another computer to go to the computer manufacturer's web site and download XP drivers for your computer model, then transfer them to your computer and install them.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional

thank you steve, I've just sent an email out to you on my personal yahoo email account. this is what it said....."I just replaced my hard drive with a new one, and installed win. XP,and the network adapters are missing. I understand that I've got to download the drives, unfortunatley, I don't have Internet access with the "new" computer......so, I have to use my other one. Q: can I download the correct drivers onto a usb card and load the drivers that way? from one computer to the other through a Memorex "mini travel drive"? Daniel

Hi, Daniel. I don't give technical support by E-mail, but I'm glad to answer you here in the forum. Yes, you can use a Memorex "mini travel drive" to download load the drivers on one computer and load them on the other one.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
